![]() She also stood up to all the boys on the team when they were making fun of her for being a girl that plays baseball. At first, she doesn’t want to because she’s afraid Marcus won’t like her, but in the end she does what’s best for the team by pitching against him. What would you say about Missy exemplifies this trait and identity?Ī) One good example of how Missy is a strong female character is when she has to pitch against Marcus (London Cheshire). Q) A strong female character can be defined in different ways. I could go on and on, it was such a fun season. In between filming, Iain and I would play the games and we each “won” a stuffie to take home. It really felt like we were at a carnival in Texas. The fight scene I did with the baseball player was actually considered a stunt, so now I can say, “I do my own stunts.” The scenes at the carnival were a lot of fun, too. Nelson was cool! He’s funny and has such a dry sense of humor. So many to choose from! All of the baseball scenes were fun to film. Q) What have been some of your favorite moments from filming this season of “Young Sheldon?”Ī) Ooooh. It seems like the writers are peeling back the layers of Missy and I can’t wait to see what they do with her in Season Four. This season has been more fun to play though since we got to see a different, more emotional side to her. Q) What continues to challenge you about portraying Missy?Ī) I wouldn’t say that she’s a challenge to play, especially now that I’ve been playing her for three seasons. ![]() They may not understand each other, but they are there for each other in their own ways. In the episode where Sheldon moves to Dallas to go to the school for gifted children, they share a sweet moment where Sheldon says she’s like green beans and Missy uses her twine pithy to try to communicate with him. In what ways do they still share that special bond between twins?Ī) Although Missy and Sheldon are polar opposites, over the seasons they have shown that deep down they love and support each other. Q) Sheldon and Missy are complete opposites. I think Missy trusts that Meemaw will always tell her the truth. What makes her the best confidant for matters of the heart?Ī) Meemaw always tells it like it is. Q) Missy looks to Meemaw for love advice. What do you think it is about Marcus that makes him standout to her?Ī) Did you see that hair flip in slow-mo? I’m actually pretty good at it in real life, too! It’s cool that I found my love of baseball through Missy. Were you a softball or baseball player before the show?Ī) I played here and there over the years with my dad, nothing competitive. Q) We loved Missy’s arc this season of joining the boy’s baseball team. That’s all I should say because I don’t want to give anything away. Meemaw (Annie Potts) and Georgie (Montana Jordan) have some fun scenes where they are getting back at Dale (Craig T. Q) What can you tease is in store for the season finale of “Young Sheldon?”Ī) Sheldon (Iain Armitage) finds out that Mary (Zoe Perry) has been hiding a big secret from him, which starts a big fight.
